The EPC Translator

The EPC translator is an Excel Add-In that will allow the user to translate RFID tag data back into it's EPC Global component parts through the use of basic Excel functions.

The translator will currently do the following:

• SGTIN to UCP/EAN, GTIN, Serial Number, Filter value and Company Prefix length
• SGTIN-198 to UCP/EAN, GTIN, Serial Number, Filter value and Company Prefix length
• SSCC to GS1 SSCC and Filter value
• GRAI to GRAI, asset type, filter and serial number
• GDTI to GRAI, document type, filter and serial number
  
• GID to General Manager Number, Object Class and serial number
  
• General Manager Number, Object Class and serial number to GID RFID tag data
  
• GTIN, Serial Number and Filter value to an SGTIN RFID tag data

In the coming months, the translator will have the following added:

• USDOD96 to Cage code/DoDAAC, Serial Number and Filter value
